CEDS devices rely on energetically stimulating
a client with computer stored test signals that simulate physical substances and monitoring the clients response
to these. The motoring process is performed by applying a probe connected to the
CEDS device to an acupuncture point. The probe monitors skin characteristics
changes as the person is exposed to the test signal. The process is very
similar to kinesiology AK testing. Their reaction is displayed on a
computer screen. You do not need to know anything about acupuncture in order to
use these devices. Compared to manual EDS devices speed, accuracy and consistency are all
enhanced with CEDS and the availability of thousands of signatures at the touch of a
button allows for increased depth of investigation. Printed reports can
also be produced and the results stored on computer.

The Vega Expert is Vega's first foray into the CEDS market, having been for many years staunchly opposed to digitise signals and advocating the use of manual physical test ampoules as used by EDS. The Expert was launched in 1997 and is a competent, self-contained (the computer is built in), simple to use instrument with basic CEDS health evaluation capabilities. It is worth mentioning that remedy assessment must be carried out using manual ampoules in the traditional EDS manner they are not built-in. The mechanical construction is of acceptable quality and will serve many practitioners well.
The new Biomeridian Insight sits between the entry-level Vega and a full-blown MSAS. We hope to review this shortly, initial indications suggest the software is very similar to the MSAS.
The Mora Century is a highly customisable device. At the base level is only offers basic EDS capabilities however modules can be added to create a versatile device including PC software to give basic electronic homoeopathic capabilities.
The Biomeridian MSAS is capable of quite
staggering levels of investigation with no recourse to manual ampoules
(though they can be used if required). If you want the ultimate in

is reflected in its look and feel. Well sorted software allows quick progression
