Medicur  Review

The Medicur is small battery powers device that emits low level magnetic frequencies designed to ease pain and aid healing.

It uses a process known as natural magnetic fields therapy and produces pulsed magnetic fields that relate to the earth and brain frequencies. Buttons on the top allow the selection of three settings ranging from relaxing through neutral to stimulating. The neutral setting is equivalent to the earths natural frequency of  7.8 hertz (cycles per second) also known as Shuman Waves.

The device is constructive from a reasonably tough and attractive blue grey plastic and has a rounded shaped that easily fits in the hand or pocket. The back on the Medicur is hollowed allowing it to be securely strapped to an arm, leg or body. One thing we have noticed is the box is fairly hard and a thin layer of padding can make it more comfortable if used a lot.

The four buttons on the front panel select - 3 hertz (relaxing) 7.8 hertz (neutral) 20 hertz (stimulating) and off. Pressing one of the frequency buttons starts the device and it silently produces the appropriate oscillating magnetic fields for 10 minutes and then automatically switches off. While it is in use a small light flashes next to the button that was pressed. Usefully there is a low battery indicator. The construction appears to be solid and well-made and should give many years of use.
