Mountain Breeze Air Ioniser - Review

The Mountain Breeze 8001 device is a combined air filtration unit and fan assisted ioniser.

Mountain Breeze are renowned for their good-quality products and the 8001 is no exception. It is constructed from a durable white plastic with the air inlet on the top and air outlets at the front. A three position rotary switch on the right is used to select the fan speed. It is mains powered and is supplied the six foot length of flex. There is a small power light on the front.

In use the low speed is silent the middle speed is quite and high-speed is noticeable but not unduly noisy.

We have found this device to be very effective and keeping reasonable size rooms feeling fresh even when occupied by many people and computers. Fan assistance makes a huge difference to the effectiveness of ionisers, we would go as far as saying that the static varieties are almost useless and mostly seen to generate a black deposit around where they are cited.
